Diagnosis:
Clinical:
- Pain in: ear, base of tongue, tonsillar fossa, beneth the angle of the jaw
- +Pain <2 minutes
- +reproducing the pain through trigger zone stimulation
Primary or secondary
Investigations to consider:
MRI+contrast, MRA
Treatment:
- Treat the cause if identified
- Carbamazepine CBZ, three times a day, controls the pain & syncope
- or Phenytoin PHT
